Dear WWOOF Host,
As the year comes to an end, we would like to start by saying a big thank you to you – for opening your farm, sharing your knowledge, your everyday life, and your sense of community.
Thank you for being part of and making possible all the meetings and experiences that make WWOOF the wonderful network it is. 🌱
Visas & invitation letters
We have noticed that there has been some confusion regarding the host’s role in visa applications for WWOOFers who wish to come to Sweden.
We therefore want to clarify the following:
WWOOF Sweden strongly recommends that you do not write invitation letters using the organization’s name.
As a private individual, you may choose to write an invitation letter yourself, but you do so at your own responsibility, and not in the name of WWOOF Sweden.
Invitation letters can involve legal and financial risks for the person who writes them.

Annual Meeting 2026 — save the date!

The annual meeting is our opportunity to meet (even if only via screen), summarize the past year, look ahead, and together shape the future of WWOOF Sweden.
Whether you have been a host for ten years or are just getting started, your voice is equally important. This is the opportunity to share ideas, ask questions, and help influence how we move forward.
We will send reminders and the meeting link closer to the date, but please feel free to add it to your calendar already! 💚
